Preserving Nature, One Villa at a Time
At Ambong Pool Villas, we believe that luxury and environmental mindfulness can coexist harmoniously. Our resort is dedicated to preserving and maintaining the natural ecosystem of Langkawi, ensuring that future generations can continue to enjoy its beauty for years to come. From the moment you arrive, you’ll notice our commitment to sustainability woven into every aspect of your stay.

Honouring the Land Through Thoughtful Architecture
When designing our resort, we prioritised environmentally conscious site planning to minimise our ecological footprint. We took great care to preserve existing trees and minimise earthworks during construction, allowing the natural geographical terrains of the sites to remain undisturbed. Our villas were purposefully designed to accommodate surrounding trees, including native species such as Bongor and Merambong, which add to the lush greenery and natural beauty of our properties.

Exploring Sustainability Through Eco-Tours and Culinary Experiences
As part of our commitment to environmental education, we offer the Buluh & Tebing Organic Farm Tour as a resort excursion. Located at the foothills of Gunung Raya, north of Langkawi, our organic farm provides guests with an opportunity to learn about traditional Malay culinary practices, herbal medicine, and cultural significance. Led by knowledgeable guides, this tour offers insights into the sustainable farming practices that help support our local community and protect the environment.

Following the farm tour, guests can participate in a hands-on cooking class led by our skilled Chef. Learn the art of preparing authentic Malay cuisines using locally sourced, sustainable ingredients harvested from our farm. The experience culminates with a delicious meal made from the fruits of your labour, providing a true taste of Langkawi’s culinary heritage.

Our Ongoing Conservation Efforts
At Ambong Pool Villas, we understand that every small effort contributes to a larger goal of environmental sustainability. That’s why we’ve implemented various eco-friendly initiatives throughout our resort. From using recyclable glass bottles for drinking water to minimising single-use plastics and implementing energy-saving measures like pump timers and master switches in our villas, we’re committed to reducing our environmental impact and fostering a culture of conservation.

Additionally, our resort proudly supports conservation efforts by installing manmade hornbill nesting trees to encourage the presence of these majestic birds in our surrounding environment.
